Reflection

 

I began at Florida International University in Fall 2017 with Political Science (Bachelor of Arts). Since my first semester, I become global citizen by participating in the events of Honors College and Steven J. Green School of International & Public Affairs. I was always interested in political science, making this the track perfect for me.

 

When I first found out about the Global Learning Medallion program, I saw it as a great opportunity to continue learning about global learning. Global Learning Medallion program offers many opportunities to enhance your global awareness, global perspective, and attitude of global engagement such as Tuesday Roundtables with amazing discussions between guest speakers and students on a great variety of topics.

In general, pursuing the Global Learning Medallion is an additional achievement for me because this program has improved my experience as an FIU student. This has been a great experience for me because the Global Learning program enlightened me and expanded my attitude toward global involvement beyond college. I am so proud of who I have become and the growth I keep embarking on. In conclusion, my journey has just begun and I cannot wait to see what adventure comes.
