Center for Immigrant Advancement (CIMA)

The Center for Immigrant Advancement (CIMA) is a non-profit organization that provide legal assistance and to the Hispanic American about Immigration. This non-profit organization offers “Free Citizenship Workshop” events which are organized each month. All staff and volunteers such as attorneys, paralegals including students like me participate in the “Free Citizenship Workshop” events to help immigrants who are U.S. Permanent Resident to apply to become a U.S. citizen. I have participated several times in CIMA events. My experience has been rewarding for me because I was able to help to immigrants who are U.S. Permanent Resident to apply to become a U.S. citizens and I could see that immigrants attend to this event with hopes to have legal assistance in their Citizenship application.
